The printers listed above provide offset lithography. offset lithography is based on the repulsion of oil and water.This is the most common printing method. The image is transfered from plate to a rubber blanket then to the substrate (paper stock).

Inkjet printing has become wide spread due to the low cost and high quality out put. This is most commonly used for desktop printing.
